November 26th 2024 Notice
Dear Members,
The firearm ranges are currently closed.
The archery range remains open.
-
Our firearm ranges were shut down by the BC CFO on May 3rd due to inadequate ground berms. To prepare for re-inspection this summer we will be installing new ground berms in the coming weeks. The indoor range passed its inspection and should open in the next few months once paperwork is completed.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.

10 Year Plan
Our Dawson Creek Sportsman Club (DCSC) has adopted a detailed and comprehensive 10-year plan for expansion, capital acquisitions and renovations of the current facilities located Riley’s Crossing. This plan includes site security, increased accessibility, and family inclusion. Through the execution of this plan, we intend to enhance our current amenities and broaden the usability of our recreational facility year-round. Our mission, “what we are about” is to be the premier shooting facility serving northeastern British Columbia and northwestern Alberta. Specifically, the plan highlights the following upgrades or acquisitions in order to achieve these goals:

-

-
Upgraded living quarters for on-site security
-
Certified playground to enhance family activities
-
15-site RV park for weekend events
-
Creation of a competition-level biathlon course
-
Upgraded clubhouse, including wheelchair accessibility and covered deck for multi-season use
-
Large tracked skid steer for trails grooming, snow removal, etc.
-
Surveillance cameras for 24-7 security of property, users, and assets
-
A 200 yard rimfire range
-
Relocate the clay target ranges complete with a lead control net
